Although Manganese is present in extremely small quantities, it seems to play a considerable role in coral coloration and it gets consumed extremely quickly.

In our SPS tanks it will drop from 0.5 to 0.14 ppb within 4 days without dosing.

We do not see the same consumption rates in our LPS tanks though and are usually able to keep the Manganese levels stable by dosing Atoll Ca+ which has elevated levels of Manganese
